Drazhen Anzulovich is the new head coach of Samara
Well-known Croatian specialist Drazen Anzulovich is the new head coach of our men's team!
Anzulovich is well known to Russian and Samara fans: for the last four seasons, he headed the Krasnoyarsk Enisey (in the 2022/2023 season, the Siberians won 14 wins in 32 matches, including 8 out of 10 in the second stage). And in 2007-2008 he worked with Perm Ural Great.
Before moving to Krasnoyarsk, Anzulovich worked successfully in Croatia, Belgium, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland and China. He won the Croatian championship three times with his teams, won the Belgian championship, and also took the Cups of these countries once. In 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007, Drazen Anzulovich was recognized as the best coach in Croatia.
Anzulovich has experience of working with the Croatian national team, which, under his leadership, played in the qualification for the 2019 World Cup.
